Transforming a paper plan into usable shapes

Unfortunately the plans are only half a boat. Visited the local copy shop to make copy of original including mirror image. Expensive mistake. The 12” rule marked on the original was a little longer on the copies and two halves did not match.

Resorted to tracing paper.

Could not find any tracing paper large enough for complete form so made each one in two halves.

Traced each half twice (one piece with a bit of overlap) and glued the two pieces together.

The dining room table is a good worktop for this activity.
